51 Ward
The Geriatric and Open Ward onsists of two units. One is Geriatric unit specialized in assessing and treating patients age 65 and older who have psychiatric symptoms, behavioral change and cognitive problems including various types of dementia. The other is Open unit for mild form of psychosis, mood disorders and anxiety disorders.
In Geriatric unit, we provide a warm and comfortable environment considering mental and physical condition of patients, with various treatment interventions offered by specialized geriatric team consisting of psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, social workers and psychologists. Nutritional management and consultation systems for medical conditions are offered to maintain the optimal physical condition of patients, therefore the most individualized treatment environment is provided.
In Open unit, we seek for the prevention of recurrence and return to society for patients in their recovery phase of treatment or patients with mild symptoms of psychosis, mood disorders and anxiety disorders.
